Welcome to dxiled.com.
This website was initially created to benefit the members of a few groups which were dedicated to Hashimoto’s Encephalopathy and Autoimmune Encephalopathy; however, the focus has now changed to encompassing a variety of neurological and rare conditions.
I spent many hours trying to capture links that were relevant to HE/AE patients and the conditions they also experience since around September of 2014 but this website has evolved since then. I became interested in posting information applicable to a wide range of conditions – often times also effecting patients with HE/AE. Because of my personal experience and those of chronically ill family and friends, I decided to share the information that I find that also applies to the conditions that they face on a daily basis. I hope that sharing this additional information will be helpful to people, who like myself, family, and friends, have struggled to find an accurate diagnosis, answers, and treatments.
I hope that this site serves a purpose that will help people find information. I wish everyone who finds this site well in their journey, whether it is for themselves, a family member, or a friend.
Please note, all membership options for this site have been disabled and all links are now back to being freely available. No written content is reproduced in it’s entirety, rather, links to the information are provided. Unless otherwise noted, all information is that which is freely available on the internet. A wealth of relevant and useful information is collected here, in a single place, for patients to review at their leisure and without regard to any groups or associations they may have.
For those who suffer from Hashimoto’s Encephalopathy, please share the below video with your family and friends. Please help raise awareness of this under diagnosed and deadly condition.
