Anti-glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) antibodies

Anti-GAD antibodies target an enzyme called Glutamic Acid Decarboxylase. This enzyme is responsible for converting glutamic acid to GABA,a chemical found in high concentrations in the cerebellum. – University of MN
